Rest in Peace, Goodfellas Actor Ray Liotta Passed Away at the Age of 67

American famous actor, Ray Liotta who starred in the blockbuster crime film Goodfellas (1990) has died in his sleep at the age of 67. Ray Liotta died on Thursday May 26 in the Dominican Republic. This has been confirmed by the Directorate General of Cinema of the Dominican Republic to Reuters.

Ray Liotta died in bed at a hotel where he was staying with his fiancé, Jacy Nittolo. He was filming Dangerous Waters. This is confirmed by publicist Jennifer Allen. She has a starring role in a film about a vacation trip that goes awry when a family secret is revealed.

According to the Dominican Republic’s director general of cinema,¬† the cause of death was not determined. The emergency services team had entered the hotel. His body was transferred to the Santo Domingo forensic institute.

Liotta was born December 18, 1954, in Newark, New Jersey. His many leading roles include playing mobster Henry Hill in Goodfellas. He was also a baseball player Shoeless Joe Jackson in Field of Dreams. Not only that, he was also known for his films including The Many Saints of Newark and Something Wild. Right now, he has a daughter, Karsen Liotta, who is 23 years old.
