One Chip Challenge Death: Wheeling Murder of Michael J. Jackson, Niayjah Hales Arrested

According to the Wheeling Police Department, WV, it was reported that the United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 20-year-old Niayjah Hales, in Wednesday morning, May 18 2022, in Bronx, New York.

He was the prepetator in shooting that brought about the passing of Michael J. Jackson, who was 41 of Wheeling on S. Penn Street, in January 28 2021. Shooting outside the VooDoo Lounge on Wheeling Island causing Michael killed in March 2021. Hales is the suspect wanted in a 2021 fatal shooting who is now injured by gunfire as he tried to escape.

An arraignment in Ohio County Magistrate Court will happen once the removal cycle is finished in New York. A subsequent suspect was captured in association with the shooting back in January of 2021. Brian Steele was accused of Wanton Endangerment with a Firearm for purportedly terminating a round through the entryway of the bar.
